silas has been working through his first cold for the past few days. he rubs his snot filled nose on our shoulders and chests whenever he has the chance. he has lulled sam and i to sleep with his congested breathing and loud snorts. i finally figured out to put tissues in the pockets of his pajamas. of course, being very silas about the whole experience is the baby himself, who has also decided all at the same time to start sleeping six hour stretches at night. fantastic.

i always say I won't comment, but again I can't help it. Silas is so big in the bath! He looks like a kid! I can't believe it! Was your exotic veggie dinner good or just unusual?

quite good, but unsual probably only to us. so far this week we've cooked with burdock, sunchokes and a ton of onions. our home smells AWESOME!
